CHAMPAGNE ANDRE JACQUART

Our estate

Champagne André JACQUART is a family Domain situated in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Our Cuvées are highly representative of the terroirs of Vertus and Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger. Vinification in oak barrels, long ageing period, low dosage and the lack of malolactic fermentation are the hallmarks of the House.

Our Know-how

LOW DOSAGE

All our Champagnes are Extra-Brut. The low dosage enhances the singularity of our Chardonnays.

AUTHENTIC VINIFICATION IN OAK BARRELS

Once grapes have been pressed, the juice is asked in oak barrels from Burgundy. The barrels we use have all been through 3 or 5 vinification with grapes from Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in the barrel but is not followed by the malolactic fermentation.

SUSTAINABLE VITICULTURE

The protection of the environment is a crucial element in our management of the vineyards since the Estate’s creation. In line with this sustainable approach, we have been certified HVE 3 in 2019.

100% CHARDONNAY

Our range is exclusively made of Blanc de Blancs (apart from our Rosé Expérience). Our Champagnes are defined by freshness, delicacy and minerality.

LENGTHY AGEING PERIODS

The ageing period of our Champagnes is at least 4 years for our non-vintage and 8 years for our vintages. This long ageing period coupled with our vinification in oak barrels brings structure and character to our Champagnes.
